The Promise of Spring

The Spring Azure is a spirited little butterfly, flitting about as if it can't figure out where it's going. Today is the first day I've seen one (three actually), and it's perfect timing, because if it stays true to its reputation, warm weather is on its way.

 

It's pale, delicate blue wings can only be seen in flight, but they move so quickly, getting a good picture is challenging. I followed this one around for a while, this is the best I could do...

 

I dare say, spring is on its way!
