Mallards

They are surprisingly colorful and plentiful this time of year, enjoying the warmth of the river...Mallard Ducks.

 

They are typically monogamous and I feel like I have been seeing the same couple together each day...

 

 

 

I do enjoy seeing them dotting the river for miles and miles!

I also enjoy the opportunity to see other feathered beauties along the river...this lovely Heron...

 ...and this hungry Osprey (see the fish in it's claws?)...
