Then we took a walk through the mountains, enjoying the chill in the air and some ice formations along the way...
Now I'm getting ready to make some black eyed peas, collard greens and corn bread, a tradition that promises good luck for the upcoming year (I'll share my recipes tomorrow).
Here's to 2014! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Thanks for reading my blog, you are the best f/f/r/s/f's, see you tomorrow,
Lise
Looks delicious and those Blackeyed Peas can't be beat. Cooked some myself. I'm sure you had a wonderful Christmas with your grandson and family and I wish you a Blessed and Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteWe did not go all the way with the peas/collard greens/corn bread, but I did make a northern bean crock pot soup with a ham bone. It was delicious. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks Susie, I modified the recipe and love how they turned out! Love being creative in the kitchen! Blessings to you and your family as well:)
