I Fancy Fog

I really enjoy the smoky fog that blankets our mountains almost every day...for some it might feel gloomy, but for me, it's fantastic and I find myself filled with a peaceful calm.


Last night, the sky was faintly pink with misty clouds feathering the mountains...


...this morning brought that famous smoky fog just like out of a postcard.

I am one fortunate girl!

    Nice misty views. I always like the autumn early morning fog when it hangs over the fields.

    I like fog also. I have seen it linger in the mountains and it is so pretty. I live on the ocean though and it steals across the water thick and pungent and settles in the grassy lowlands.

    Thanks Joy, we have a lot of fog around here, and I enjoy it almost all year long.

    Thanks for visiting spiritofsimplicity. We also have a place on the river down south, and I love watching it roll in and out...it gets so thick you can't see your hand in front of you!

    Patti, I did see it, but after I wrote this, LOL. I've heard about fog in August indicating the number of snows...if its true, we are going to have lots of snow this winter! We've had more days with than without.

    Yes, fog is like a veil over a beautiful face! It adds mystery and softness, changes the colors and is lovely in every way!
