Spiderwebs & Cascades

It's been quite rainy the past couple days...great for the garden!  I decided to go down to the creeks and see how they were flowing, being that the rain often causes them to swell and become quite swift.  I found them to be flowing nicely, but not rushing.  I was however, pleasantly surprised when I arrived at our small bridge, to find a large spiderweb beautifully dotted with raindrops.

...this is a cropped version of the picture immediately above,
it makes it a little blurry but you can see the droplets...

This is the second web I found, just a little further up the creek than the first one...
I wondered if a huge spider was going to come down from the trees above, LOL!
I never did see the spider, so I am not sure what kind it is.
Here are a few photos of our other creek (this one did not have spiderwebs)...
...with flash, most of the cascade...
...with flash, but different scene setting and closer to the top of the cascade
(seen in the picture above)...
...almost the same as the first picture but no flash...

It has been drizzling all day with on and off showers, but nothing heavy.  I wonder if the spider has shown up, but it's too dark now to go look, with the darkened sky.  OK, truth be told, I am not sure I want to encounter that thing, though the rational part of me knows it is probably a normal sized spider, LOL!
Oh, and happy day, more peppers are germinating!!!

Thanks for reading my blog, you are the best f/f/r/s/f's, see you tomorrow,
Lise

Lise, my most hated thing spiders , thank goodness for the geko's that live in the eve of our house outside spiders are one of their fav snacks , so they keep them away pretty good , but they (the spiders) love to wait on top of the doors and make a run for it to get inside during the rainy season, I hate them. cute webs tho lol .
